Science Education Findings
During the NSF-funded years of this program (2004-2009) scientists in the fields of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics worked alongside middle and high school science teachers. It became apparent that these two groups of professionals came from two different workplace “cultures”. These preliminary observations are reported in the Science Education Findings Presentation.
Marine Biotechnology and Bioinformatics is a teacher professional development program of the Innovative Technology Experiences for Students and Teachers (ITEST) program.
